Laparoscopy is the most advanced form of surgery for women suffering from gynaecological diseases such as bleeding problems, fibroids, ovarian cyst, endometriosis, infertility. With training and expertise all these can be tackled by laparoscopy which has several advantages over open surgery. Patients have early recovery and less blood loss and they can resume their daily activities in a day or two. It reduces the morbidity of open surgery. It was an Apollo hospital attempt to spread the awareness and knowledge about laparoscopic surgery.
